Design and Display
At first glance of the Note 8, it looks alot like the Infinix Zero 8 in terms of body design. However, a look at the back panel, shows it offers something different from the Note 7. The Infinix Note 8 has a triangle camera set up instead of the ring setup Infinix gave us on the Note 7.
The overall sleek body design is filled with unique lines and is technologically original. The Gem Cut design at the back is transparent with sure durability. The curved four corner edges present an ergonomic design that seats comfortably in your hands .
The Note 8 has a side mounted fingerprint scanner that provides ultra-fast biometric verification and there is also Face Unlock for accurate facial recognition and added security.
Infinix Note 8 comes with a large 6.95 inches IPS LCD screen display with a resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels, an aspect ratio of 20.5:9 with a dual super tiny camera punch hole.
Cameras
Sitting on the back panel of the Infinix Note 8 is a 64 MP main shooter and this high-resolution camera comes with some special internal features that allow you to convert those wonderful moments into Beautiful memories.
The built in camera sensor has Real-time eye-tracking accompanied by an AI algorithm that helps to deliver more natural and studio-style pictures. Other cameras include a 2-megapixel depth sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and an AI lens. On the front is a 16 MegaPixel + Portrait Lens Dual that work closely to deliver stunning selfies. Video calling seems to be interesting on this Smartphone.
Hardware and Software
With big thanks to the gaming chipset on the device. The Infinix Note 8 Mediatek Helio G80 SOC comes with an expectation for high-performance. Infinix Mobility says the phone is built for speed. Well, the octa-core processor is expected to run at a speed of 2.0 GHz and also has a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU for crystal clear graphics.
Fo a mild comparison though, this is way better than Note 7 that has a G70 chip. Though the Note 8 is not the leading smartphone out there, since there are others slightly ahead with the Helio G85. For storage, Infinix Note 8 has a large 128GB Inbuilt memory, coupled with 6GB RAM. This storage is expandable via a micro SDcard but not beyond 128GB.
Battery and Network
Another major upgrade on the Infinix Note 8 is the large 5200 mAh battery that came with it. To make it more juicer, it also comes with an amazing 18W Super Charge featuring a USB Type C. There is also dual engine technology enabled on the device that reduces the heat by 8 degrees Celsius while charging.
The Infinix Note 8 lack 5G network which is quite understandable but there is a fast 4G network and other nice features as well. The Note 8 runs on Android 10 OS with XOS 7.1 user interface that comes with cool features like Xclone, Image Compressor, Xnote 4.0, etc. Sadly there is no stylus Pen include
